Project
The Cresc-ENDO project is supported by the Università degli Studi di Firenze (UNIFI). It consists of monthly seminars focusing on topics in the fields of auxology, endocrinology, diabetology and paediatric gynaecology.
The seminars are part of the educational programme of the Paediatric Clinic 1 – Auxo-Endocrinology and Paediatric Gynaecology, of the Università degli Studi di Firenze, at the Meyer University Hospital in Florence.
The project was born from a desire to listen to, share and discuss experiences and knowledge in the fields of auxology, endocrinology, diabetology and paediatric gynaecology and has the following objectives:
- to favour cooperation among trainee doctors, specialists and healthcare workers to encourage interaction and establish diagnostic and therapeutic pathways connecting the hospital and clinicians working in the territory;
- to provide updates and information to improve the understanding of new trends in treating common and rare pathologies and encourage research in the fields of auxology, endocrinology, diabetology and paediatric gynaecology;
- to contribute to the creation of a network of specialists and sub-specialists to promote reciprocal working practices and an interactive approach to issues in these fields.
The seminars are CME accredited. Attendance is limited to relevant professionals (Specialists in Paediatrics, Trainee Paediatricians, General Practitioners, Paediatric Nurses, Psychologists, Dietologists etc).
